The Bullet team is heading upstream with a new appointment from developer Traders In Purple. Our task? Create a brand that transports Traders’ signature coastal luxury to a one-of-a-kind riverside location in central Brisbane.
This project is a first for Traders in Purple. Renowned for luxury apartments on the Moreton Bay Peninsula, it will mark their entry into a competitive urban market. It was always a case of when, not if, Traders In Purple would embark on a central Brisbane project. Ultimately, timing is everything — and this opportunity, a 1.25-hectare site on the riverfront in West End, has been described as “unrepeatable” by Director George Geagea.
This will be a lifestyle-focused location, promising beautiful homes with spectacular riverfront views. Designed with liveability in mind, thoughtfully crafted floorplans will cater to downsizers and owner-occupiers. With the usual Traders hallmarks; practical use of space, quality finishes, onsite amenities plus green communal spaces offering direct access to the river, this project will offer a seamless blend of comfort and connection.
West End has established itself as Brisbane’s vibrant and creative inner-city neighbourhood, attracting both residents and visitors with its bustling Saturday markets, hip coffee shops, and independent galleries. Within walking distance, you’ll find everything from homemade confectionery to high art; go east along the bend in the river and arrive at Queensland’s official Cultural Quarter at South Bank.
We are thrilled to collaborate with our long-time partner Bullet, on this strategic project for Traders In Purple.
Susie Doran, National Marketing Director
We know the eclectic character of the suburb is down to a uniquely diverse population. 56.6% of people living in West End were born in Australia, compared to the national average of 69.8%. It’s been described as one of Brisbane's most successful multicultural areas, and this confluence of people and ideas, plus a younger-than-average demographic, has shaped the area into a thriving community and cultural hotspot.
The built landscape is equally eclectic and, like much of Brisbane, has seen significant transformation in recent years. There are a handful of major developments due for completion, and several more at pre approval.
Central to our brand strategy will be Traders In Purple’s reputation for enhancing the locations in which they develop. Balancing the character of the neighbourhood with the aspirations of our target demographic will be key. Through the power of branding, Bullet will help the development earn its place in the community.
If the early architectural concepts are any indication of this project’s ambition, it promises to be a spectacular addition to Brisbane’s riverside. For Bullet’s creative team, it’s a fantastic opportunity to work on a significant slice of Queensland’s design history. For Traders In Purple, it’s another step in their mission of creating beautiful homes with purpose. We look forward to collaborating on this exciting new chapter for Bullet, Traders in Purple, and the city of Brisbane.
